Yesterday I did the #adult thing and refrained from buying a bunch of clothes and other items I like but don't need.

I then proceeded to order a bunch of TTRPG dice as well as paints I need for a Pokémon figure. I am so #proud of myself

I am hopeless with most jobs around the house that involve mending/repairing/fixing. If a nail needs to be hammered in bent I will do it no problem. If you need a ham-fisted attempt at hanging something straight, I'm the woman for the job.
Today I've turned a corner - I managed to replace my cat's broken catflap door. This involved taking apart the existing one, which is usually the bit of a task I can manage, & reassembling. It seems to be working (though early days).

Went to a Write/Speak/Code meetup to force myself to write my talk. Scaffolded ~42 slides and listed out the things I still need to research. That felt good. Given I'm speaking on Dec 2, its about time I got my shit together!
