There are a few brief moments where this issue looks decent, but I’m not a fan of the art in general, and the storyline is just Wolverine hunting down these ex-mercenaries. #marvel #wolverine
Neue Comic-Rezi:
»Narben« richtet sich vor allem an (Old-School-)Fans des Krallenschwingers, die Lust auf gut orchestrierte und gezeichnete Kämpfe haben.
Narben von Chris Claremont
Reihe: Wolverine
This issue seems to be a flashback story, where Wolverine terrorizes a bunch of mercenaries who captured the American embassy in Iraq five years earlier. I’m not sure I care enough about this story to spend a lot of time here. #marvel #wolverine
Question for comics fans: I have a vague memory of a panel from a #Marvel comic where someone was confused when they walked into a fight scene and multiple Wolverines were there, including one actually-furry-and-quadrupedal mustelid #wolverine. Can anyone tell me where it was from?
092 - Giant-Size X-Men #1 (4/1/1975)
And because it's too big an issue to pass up, here's the REAL #XMenADay cover for April 1!

I really love this issue’s Wolverine Gallery image by the distinctive Rob Liefeld! #marvel #wolverine
So Patch manipulated Joe Fixit into destroying the operations of mob boss Nguyen Ngoc Coy, which ends up being a good thing. But Mr. Fixit is upset about tricked, and he expresses his disapproval to Patch very…vehemently! #marvel #wolverine
Patch leads Mr. Fixit to a cocaine processing plant, where as expected he wrecks the place. “To paraphrase an’ old army buddy: ‘I do so love it when a plan comes together.’” So the A-Team is canonical to the Marvel Universe?! #marvel #wolverine
Patch leads the Hulk into a criminal den, where he finds cells filled with women ready to be sold into slavery. And of course the Hulk frees them! He may be a monster but he’s not, you know…a monster! #marvel #wolverine
The opening scene in Logan*, ending with several hollow-point bullets being pressure ejected from Hugh Jackman's striated musculature into a low-grade motel's dirty porcelain sink, with a single digit body fat level of vascularity reminiscent of a hard DNP cut, is quite possibly the most enjoyably vicious and raw intro sequence to any Wolverine or X-MEN movie.
Further so, the same opinion applies to Logan's superiority (of opening scenes) over any of the MCU movies.
The tenor of the movie increases, finds additional plot lines, but that intro sure is a feel good thrasher.. and then we see just how sadly downtrodden Logan and Charles have fallen, psychologically and physically, and because of what? All because Charles refused to do what needed to be done on that beach back in the 1960s, out of a misplaced sense of flawed ethics? Or because so many years ago Erik (ja, Max) was held back from stabilizing the power dynamic between the superiorly evolved and everyone else.. perhaps there is no definitive single answer? hmm.
Very sad. Great movie, never a dull moment. Great into to his daughter too, fantastisch.
I like Patch’s strategy to not reveal his true identity as Wolverine: He lets himself get beat up by some slave traders, and relies on Mr. Fixit to do the cleanup work! #marvel #wolverine

And yes, this is the Havok speech/"hobo piss" issue.

With that hair and those sideburns, I still don’t believe that no one recognizes “Patch” as Wolverine. Anyway, Joe Fixit is looking for a local businessman in Madripoor, and Patch is happy to help. #marvel #wolverine
