I've heard the claim that #QuantumComputing will be the next #fad in #tech once the #AIBubble bursts completely. The thing about that is that quantum computers seem to actually have broad potential for improvement of how we use computers. So-called "AI" has a very narrow scope of actual usefulness, but billionaires already wanted an excuse to cut the lower rungs off the ladder via automation, so they didn't care how many cracks they left in the façade trying to ram a square peg into a round hole

At Quantum Village we want to 'Access All Quantum States'; from how to hack quantum networks to how quantum engineering might shift our collective futures. And we want YOU to be a part of this incredible year!

This year, we are launching our first open source quantum device, and it is designed to be the world's first hackable quantum device! We are looking to get all of the responses in by mid-May and then quickly turned around! **DISCLAIMER** - Quantum Village and DEF CON are NOT sales conferences, and we will reject without review any talks that look like they are garnered towards selling services outside of the bounds of our remit.

The NCSC has put out new guidance and a timeline for organisations to prepare for and protect against threats posed by future developments in quantum computing - by 2035.
