Today someone asked if I masked because I'm immunocompromised. I told them masking is just something I do now. It's a way to care for others and act in solidarity. If someone else masks, my mask means they aren't the only one

I find masking is a pretty good litmus test for someone's values. Like the shopping cart test.
- Does this person care about other people enough to do something inconvenient to themselves? That's probably someone I can trust
- Does this person claim to care about others but cannot be bothered to make a small concession to their own personal comfort or convenience? I proceed with caution until I have more information
