The Friday vibes here in the Hobbit Hole are immaculate.

Apparently watching me purge stuff in my bedroom is exhausting to watch.

Spent the morning sipping a latte and chatting with my kid a bit.

Afternoon was cleaning the kitchen and baking a cake.

Zoom dinner this evening celebrating someone special's birthday.

Now curled up with some knitting and playing fetch with the pupper.

In the grand scheme of things... today's been alright.

Ran some errands with my son today. Left him and the dogs in the car while I popped into the Asian market.

(omg they had sriracha, I might have cried, and then bought like 3 bottles).

Anyways, my shadow pupper apparently sat like this the entire time waiting for me.

Hanging out with the old boys tonight.

Taking a moment to just sit, and do nothing else, is really hard. I want to read, or knit, or crochet, or play a game.

But sometimes we just need to be still. After days and days of pain, I'm trying to find my way back to my body.
