I think, most people don't really grok the strangeness of the purchase of X by xAI.

Some pointed out that VC Andressen & H. were on both sides of the deal.

But it's worse than that. On March 19, The Guardian reported on X's surprising new valuation: ""Musk gave a 25% stake in his artificial intelligence start-up, xAI, to [investors] early last year...[...]...which has also boosted the updated valuation of X."
