Fantastic ride to market this morning. Chilly out when we left but it warmed up quite a bit as the morning went by. Then the teen wanted to do a creative route home so we went through a lot of areas not far from our house that we’ve never ridden through.

Taiyaki, a fish shaped treat made of rice flour and filled with custard in this case. There’s a stand at the market on occasion that makes these fresh and they are really tasty.

Most exciting part of taking an unfamiliar route home: we stumbled across a CHEESE SHOP that we didn’t know existed. They’ve been open for 2 years! I’m appalled that I was unaware, especially as someone who grew up in Wisconsin and so has intrinsic cheese radar.
