The Fruitvale Alive bike lanes are now almost complete on both sides, and the VAST majority of it is great. Fully protected, and connects Alameda to Fruitvale BART.

But...well.

Looking at this @streetsblogsf article sf.streetsblog.org/2024/01/22/, this may be from forcing the last-block connector to Fruitvale BART?

Tangentially, no one actually thought the thing would be done in August. I'm just glad it's almost done now. Construction was rough.
