Acts of Kindness Relieve Anxiety.
In a 5-week study, participants with average depressive/anxiety symptoms tried: 1) random acts of kindness, 2) planned social activities, or 3) cognitive reappraisal exercises. All reduced depression/anxiety, but kindness had the most profound impact, boosting life satisfaction & social connection.
