So I finished my re-read of #TheEyeOfTheWorld last night, and:
No wonder I fell into this world hard as a younger person.
No wonder I identified so hard with Perrin as a young closeted (even to myself) trans boy!
I'm quite impressed with Robert Jordan's capacity to introduce us to his world in the first book. There's concepts that aren't explained in depth, but so much is touched on, I feel it's a good intro!
And call it growth or the writing, but I read so many more characters as POC this time
