Old white guy in a truck on my walk out to the protest:”What’s wrong with you, you fucking asshole!” he screamed at the lady with her sign(me) from the safety of his 3tons of steel.

I ignored him and kept on to the protest. Nice try, ya coward, but I know which one of us is scared and it’s not me.

Protester “leader” (there are no leaders): *on megaphone in the pouring rain trying to bolster us* “This is the best weather we’ve had so far!”

That got a laugh cuz it’s true—previous weekends were cold and snowy.
