What's your idea of Australian Cuisine? What would you expect to see under an Australian section of a restaurant menu?

We do that too. It's a thick cream soup base with chunks of potato and often bacon bits, chives, etc., baked potato fillings.
Very hearty, can be closer to a stew than a soup.
