Yes!!! The Magic university hardcover collectors edition kickstarter has passed the $5K mark! This means upgrading the book with either debossed or foil title on the cover (or both!) "Debossed" is the opposite of embossed (raised) and puts the lettering in a depression.
The more copies people pledge to buy of the hardcover, the better the printer I can opt for and the better the options get. (Which is why it could be either debossed or foiled... or both, if we get enough backers!) I know we'll order 100 copies, but I hope for 200+!
The next big upgrade to the book will come at $7,500, when we will add custom designed endpapers to the book! These will be designed by Painted Wings Publishing, the same folks who did the fore-edge tarot design. And at $10K we get a ribbon bookmark!
The next two milestones, though, will be at $6,000, I write a new Magic U story and send it to every backer digitally, and when we reach 100 backers, I'll host an online party for backers only!
