Is this the courage Apple is so famous for?

ETA, since this has broken containment: When Apple removed the headphone jack from iPhone in 2016, Phil Schiller said on stage that doing so took "courage." This post contained a reference. I do not actually think a corporation can be courageous, as it is not sentient.
