Yeah. So I finally watched The Matrix: Resurrections, and it is without a doubt the movie you all slept on the most in the last year.
I must’ve cried five times. That movie is a beautiful reimagining, modern adaptation, and sort of optional second ending to the original trilogy, all while also (and maybe foremost) being a gigantic “Fuck you!” to everyone who completely misunderstands the first three.
Without saying more, *that’s* my favorite scene, though I have several.
I’ll add that I’m maybe the only person I know in real life who loved the sequels as much as my previous post says I loved this sequel. So YMMV, but for me, it was almost as perfect as it could have been.
