My first great egret 
I had seen great egrets before and photographed them 3-4 times. But the photos were just to show that I had seen some.
The Great White Egret (Ardea Alba) grows up to 100 cm tall and has a wingspan of up to 170 cm. It feeds mainly on amphibians, fish and aquatic insects. mein erster Silberreiher Ich hatte schon öfter mal Silberreiher gesehen und auch 3-4 mal fotografiert. Nur waren das eher „Beweißfotos“. Jetzt konnte ich mal einen etwas besser ablichten. Der Silberreiher (Ardea Alba) wird bis zu 100 cm groß und bekommt eine Spannweite von bis zu 170 cm. Er ernährt sich vor allem von Amphibien, Fischen und Wasserinsekten. Silberreiher sind in Deutschland vor allem Durchzügler, aber es gibt zunehmend Exemplare mit festen Standort.
