jeanoappleseed
Good morning from #Pasadena. Beautiful sunny morning. Two days in a row. Husband has been hospitalized with gastroenteritis. Two trips to the hospital. He had spent the night in ER on Wednesday night and was stable but they sent him home thursday without medication at all and within 2 hours he was extremely sick again. They had called the episode"mild” on the discharge notes.

I took him to our family doctor yesterday morning, who had urgently prescribed meds late Wednesday, but that we were not able to get until the next morning due to pharmacy hours. To tell you how sick my husband was, the doctor had my husband transported by ambulance to the hospital…

They moved him from the gurney to a chair and rolled him into the waiting room where he continued to be in pain and had to wait for the better part of 9-10 hours!!! Cruel, though they were very nice in many other ways.

I am so tired that I did not wake up till 6:30am (I normally wake up around 3:30 or 4, often before the alarm which is at 4. The dogs are quite stressed too especially Finn who is extremely attached to my husband. So I'm also having to stay with Finn because he has severe separation anxiety.

Yesterday morning, we had 2ºC (36ºF) and the #SanGabrielMountains got a good dusting of snow above ~5000 feet (1500 m). Here are some photos. What a treat!!
