“Unknown Pleasures”

A render of the classic Joy Division album cover, using Blender’s Geometry Nodes. I plan to use this as a music visualizer in a future project.

Designed by Peter Saville, the cover image is a ridgeline plot of successive radio pulses from PSR B1919+21, the first radio pulsar discovered by Jocelyn Bell Burnell. The image was originally created for a doctoral dissertation by Harold Craft.

“Meganeura Trapped in Amber"

Recreation of an ancient insect in Blender. Related to dragonflies, Meganeura was one of the largest flying insects ever, with a wingspan of about 65–75 cm (2.13–2.46 ft). As such, it’s very unlikely that one would be captured by tree sap, so this portrays the animal in its nymph form.

Here's a small update to my coaster render, with some new scenery in place for parts of it.

I had the graybox disabled for this render though, so unfortunately a lot of the space is still quite empty. I will make a new render soon that includes the graybox along with the new scenery!
