Perhaps one should look more closely at the illustration. Maybe it represents the isolation of what racism looks like. Times were different, and it was brave and progressive of Schulz to create him. Timothy ShortellOne of the things I like about the tufted titmice is that given the choice between sunflower seeds and peanuts, despite their small size, they always choose peanuts. The chickadees sometimes take a peanut, but more often take several sunflower seeds. The goldfinches and sparrows only eat the sunflower seeds.
