I've been spending a lot of time reading up on news and politics, because as an American, I'm in the thick of it all and I'm less likely to panic if I know what's going on. DrubI want to run our <a href="https://woof.group/tags/Greyhawk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Greyhawk</a> <a href="https://woof.group/tags/Pathfinder" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Pathfinder</a> campaign game so bad. I’ve given the PCs a villain they HATE so much & they are attempting to track him down after he escaped handily with a skull of a dead alchemist/artificer. If Iuz wants this skull it can’t be good.The PCs are planning to bamboozle the villain with a skull with an antimagic orb in it so that the villain’s many bag/pouches/haversacks either disgorge their contents & depower his magic items or he implodes. Simple high or low on d10s 😈

I've got an NPC in my <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/Pathfinder" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Pathfinder</a> game who uses Folksy Patter (<a href="https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=1430" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank">https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=1430</a>), which lets them disguise coded messages as folksy idioms. I'd like to play some of this in character, so it would be nice to slip in some halfling words. I don't need it to mean anything, but it should sound like whatever people think a halfling language should sound like<a href="https://masto.ai/tags/ttrpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ttrpg</a>

Canageek (Roleplaying account)Damn, trying to run some Pathfinder 1e, and it looks like most of the work on Pathforge, ScForge, Heroforge and other character creators all fell apart in about 2011. What happened in 2011? 5th edition didn't come out until 2014, and PF2e in 2019. Is that just the point all the maintainers burned out? I want to play/GM in a world where PCs can go anywhere, and do anything.And what I realized is that <a href="https://ttrpg-hangout.social/tags/GURPS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#GURPS</a> takes that concept even further, because it does away with the restraints of classes in <a href="https://ttrpg-hangout.social/tags/DND" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#DND</a>, <a href="https://ttrpg-hangout.social/tags/PathFinder" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#PathFinder</a>, and similar games. <a href="https://ttrpg-hangout.social/tags/GURPS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#GURPS</a> turns your PC itself into a sandbox.You got bored of being a fighter? Okay, just leave the Fighters' Guild and join the Paladins and train with them instead!
