Doing something right with my #parenting -- my 10 year old just shouted "EXCUSE ME" at the home assistant to interrupt its talking, to give it a new instruction. It didn't work, but it was sweet.

Kiddo throws a fit when anyone tries to cut his hair, but it had gotten shaggy enough that my wife and I decided we needed to cut it. I wielded the scissors and my wife did her best to distract kiddo and prevent thrashing limbs from effecting my endeavor. The result is that the abruptness of his bangs makes him look rather like Spock. Oops, at least his hair grows quickly. #parenting #StarTrek
