I'm going to tell you a shocking tale in the hope of gaining some sympathy.
Earlier today I had me a run.
Nothing too strenuous but enough to tire out this timeworn chap.
Had a shower, a bite to eat, a nosey at the news.
Then I went upstairs.
Just 2 minutes quiet sit down on the bed.
Started to nod off . . . .
AAAAAARRGH!!!!
Major muscle cramp, left calf.
Bloody agony. Flailing around I was for nearly 3 minutes.
It's still fluttering now - over an hour later.

Am I just getting old?

😔

#Palestinian #journalist Ahmed Mansour was burned in his tent on Sunday night, survived the fire but his life-threatening injuries were too severe to be handled by Gazan doctors without the necessary medical equipment. Ahmed died after a few hours. The picture shows him with his little baby-nephew who has not only lost his uncle but also both parents.

Crippling pain hasn't slowed down Amber as she prepares to run 500km
By Bill Ormonde

Suffering severe pain from endometriosis, there are days when Amber Bryant can barely get out of bed. Yet she's about to run 500 kilometres "back home" to Broken Hill to raise money and awareness about the disease.

ABC News · Endometriosis awareness the aim of woman's 500km Adelaide-to-Broken Hill runBy Bill Ormonde

Hi All, I don't normally leave it this late to get back on the socials after a Sunday. But my pain levels are terrible.

One of the main reason is that the pharmacy has...three times failed to get the right slow-release medication to us.

I take set doses of pain and muscle-relaxing meds through the day. But I also have slow release ones that work between the doses (which are not effective after 2½-3hrs).

The slow-release one is strong so, currently I'm struggling to ignore the #fibro #pain.
