Ghosts
These trees along a road out of town, captured on a foggy night several years ago, have since fallen victim to the chainsaw. They are missed.

Watched *Chinatown* again last night. It was a good enough movie the first time, and this second time I realized why it's a classic. But man, that ending is dark!

76th: Thrillers, Chillers, and Killers: Radio and Film Noir by Krutnik is a must read for media scholars as well as noir aficionados. Thoroughly researched and offers new avenues to consider the cycle of crime thrillers in 1940s and 50s in America. Krutnik’s scholarship with this book expands and rewrites the scholarly and fan narrative around noir and crime thrillers showing how pervasive they were in America media. #books #noir #nonfiction
Finished the splash page without text to explain how negative backgrounds are used.
Terminada la página doble sin texto para explicar como se usan los trasfondos negativos.
Exploring the couple Patrick McGoohan films on Criterion, and found All Night Long. Othello, but in the 60s London Jazz scene.
It includes performances by actual jazz greats, like Charles Mingus, Dave Brubeck, Tubby Hayes, and Johnny Dankworth.
Well worth a watch.
I swear the thunder sound effect is the same as the Prisoner.
#Criminal ~ the #comics are already great. Looking forward to #TheKnives!

mixed media piece as an exercise to get me into gear into writing a story i've been working for a few years! which reminds me, i have to post the other proof of the comic i've been working on…god to be an artist
This piece is related to 'Birthday Girl' in that characters are shared.
