It fascinates me how #mushrooms change over a few days- I mean plants change a lot too from seed/spore to maturity, but not usually as fast + I guess I'm more familiar with the stages!
This is probably a Shaggy Parasol / Chlorophyllum sp. growing by the path in front of the old trailer, under a large spruce, with descendants of Campanula rapunculoides +Aquilegia hyb my aunt planted long ago. The good news: my shiitake mushroom log finally grew mushrooms!

The bad news: they aren’t shiitakes.

A pair of willow brackets (𝘗𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘴 𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘶𝘴) at Thompson Park:

Inocutis tamaricis, probably, or another fungus on a dead oak trunk. In the impenetrable terrain of the floodplain forest near Lost Creek.

Found and harvested about 5 pounds of hen of the woods #mushrooms and a handful f chanterelles while #mountainbiking at Rosaryville today.

These will make a great and savory taco filling.

Went biking with wife this morning on the rail trail. We get there and her ebike has only one bar of charge, but it made a 10 mile round trip with her moving slow.
Nice morning, but also getting busier as we head towards Fall. Even saw a guy riding a horse at a pretty good clip.
