This is Jonathan Kennett crossing the Maramataha stream on what is now the Timber Trail in central North Island, New Zealand. There’s now a 50-metre suspension bridge. I did go back a few years later to ride the completed trail—photo tomorrow.

@mhopens Ok so you have to remember there is no algorithm here to feed you content. Your best course of action is to search #hashtags for the things that interest you - #mountainbike, #photography, #recordcollection, #shipbuilding whatever. You can follow the hashtags and also follow people associated with those, of course. This will quickly fill up your timeline.

One of my local bike shops has a rather good selection (not for sale) of retro mountain bikes.

I don't think I will ever stop getting sentimental about #Shimano thumb shifters.

Three retro mountain bikes. Left to right: blue rigid (can't remember what it is and can't identify it from the photo); a black GT Tequest; a bright yellow GT Bravado. All are in immaculate condition.

The main frame triangle of a blue (Gary) Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo. Again, in immaculate condition.

A Campagnolo stamped rear wheel drop out in chrome, matching the rest of the frame. The wheel is held in place by a modern Shimano quick-release skewer!
