Amin Girasol<p>Back at the very beginning of January I mentioned¹ I'd stumbled across Han Hogan, one half of the artist duo "Namaco" behind "Mega Dreoilín"² ³, considered by one critic as: </p><blockquote><p>...one of the best Irish artworks of 2024 so far... incredibly engaging, brilliantly designed, sophisticated in its form and execution, and unexpectedly moving.</p></blockquote><p>Han is a dynamo! She's been working with Donal on a new artwork/game/commentary:</p><blockquote><p>...a video game about the Irish economy: why we have found ourselves here and where to go next. Specifically it looks at the idea of neocolonialism by multinationals who don’t pay taxes etc - and the wider effects on people’s lived reality in Ireland.</p></blockquote><p>This work will be part of a group exhibition, "Liquid Urbanisms"⁴, at the Lab Gallery in Dublin city centre from Friday 14 March to Thursday 24 April 2025.</p><p>¹ <a href="https://oldbytes.space/@fluidlogic/113761444061542306" translate="no" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">oldbytes.space/@fluidlogic/113</span><span class="invisible">761444061542306</span></a></p><p>² <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega_Dreoil%C3%ADn" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega_D</span><span class="invisible">reoil%C3%ADn</span></a></p><p>³ <a href="https://moli.ie/exhibitions/holy-show" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">moli.ie/exhibitions/holy-show</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p>⁴ <a href="https://www.dublincityartsoffice.ie/programmes-projects/lab-gallery/liquid-urbanims" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">dublincityartsoffice.ie/progra</span><span class="invisible">mmes-projects/lab-gallery/liquid-urbanims</span></a></p><p><a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/IrishArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>IrishArt</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/CapitalistCritique" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CapitalistCritique</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Leftwing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Leftwing</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Ireland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ireland</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Tech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Tech</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Technofeudalism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Technofeudalism</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Technofascism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Technofascism</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Capitalism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Capitalism</span></a></p>
