Virgina Giuffre, one of Jeffrey Epstein‘s alleged sex trafficking victims, who also accused Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, says she has just a few days to live after going into kidney failure.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, Giuffre alluded to a bus crash and said doctors told her she has just four days to live.

I've reached this point where I know Big Tech is useless unless I can free it from corporate greed with Linux and GrapheneOS.

I don't use Instagram Reels much anymore since uninstall the app about 6 months ago, but once in a while I absent-mindedly click into it from the browser. And I cannot believe just how bad the content it is feeding me has gotten.

Every. Other. Reel. is something that is overtly racist, sexist, or horrible (i.e. mocking someone with down syndrome.) When I used the app, my "algorithm" was basically skateboard videos, cats, rock climbing, and left-wing comedy skits. Traces of that remain, but the majority of content has become hypertoxic.

I can't tell if this is the new normal for Instagram, or if the algorithm has "reset" for me and this is what Zuck wants a late 20s white guy in America to be seeing on a regular basis. There's undeniable convenience for Zuck and how he's positioned himself in normalizing this stuff given the larger political picture and how he's aligned himself with Trump.

Anyone else having a similar experience?

Given this information about #pixelfed and its developer, we will be closing our Pixelfed instance today. We will also be looking for a new #Instagram like platform to use. #Loops looked promising, but it is the same developer as Pixelfed. I will exiting the Pixelfed beta testing for iOS as well.
