We're both in favor of a supplementary document because it gives the organization more flexibility and lets the bylaws be shorter and more accessibleLike our bylaws and CoC, all <a href="https://wandering.shop/tags/forktogether" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#forktogether</a> governance documents will be publicly available on our wiki

Is this section necessary? Satsuma [moved]One of our major hurdles of writing the <a href="https://wandering.shop/tags/forktogether" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#forktogether</a> bylaws is that none of us are super qualified on the legal aspects of setting up a non profit, and we want this to be as sound as we can, so it's involved a lot of research. If there's any lawyers who'd be willing to look over our work, we'd love to hear from you!

Satsuma [moved]Right now my primary goal as a member of the <a href="https://wandering.shop/tags/forktogether" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#forktogether</a> groups with is to make the bylaws legally sound enough to be able to let the <a href="https://toot.cat/@forktogether" class="u-url mention">@forktogether</a> group raise money. This would initially go towards infrastructure costs (buying a domain name, hosting the wiki and our codebase)More or less everything else, in my view, can be accomplished by collective decision making or voting to delegate projects to specific volunteers (as we did with the bylaws)
