NorfolkGregOn Wednesday morning, thanks to the excitement of being <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/home" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#home</a>, I forgot to reset my <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/location" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#location</a> in the <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/BBC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BBC</a> <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/WeatherWatcher" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#WeatherWatcher</a> app. I posted my report as if I was still in <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/Dorset" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Dorset</a>.Minutes later I discovered it was an Editor's Pick, which probably means it was used to illustrate the weather on <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/SouthToday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#SouthToday</a> the local BBC programme and some 160 miles from where the picture was taken.I reposted my picture with a correct location, meaning to look later to see whether it had been used on the show. I didn't make time to do that and local programmes disappear from the BBC web site within 36 hours of broadcast, so I'll never know if the image was shown in error.
