Ik lees bij voorkeur artikelen niet daar. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/POSSE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>POSSE</span></a></p><p>Ik gebruik ook zo min mogelijk <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Github" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Github</span></a>. Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Codeberg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Codeberg</span></a> of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GitLab" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GitLab</span></a>.</p>
Farooq | فاروق<p>In the last 12 months, I had 608 contributions on <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/Codeberg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Codeberg</span></a> and 387 on <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/Github" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Github</span></a>. Many other <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/FOSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FOSS</span></a> contributors are like me. Github is not the de facto standard choice for code hosting anymore. Also people can login into Codeberg using their Github or Gitlab accounts. So think twice before deciding to host your next <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/opensource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>opensource</span></a> project on Github.</p>
Farooq | فاروق<p>I have started using <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/RSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RSS</span></a> with my <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/ebookreader" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ebookreader</span></a> and now I understand its value. I just have automatic deploy using <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/forgejo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>forgejo</span></a> actions set up for my blogs hosted on <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/codeberg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>codeberg</span></a>. I also enabled full dump of blog posts into RSS.</p><p>If you enjoy reading blogs and websites, but you still aren't using RSS, I highly recommend you try it. You won't regret it.</p><p>As someone said before, the right way to follow websites is RSS. Not a Mastodon bot, a Telegram bot or newsletters from Email.</p><p>Also if you read a lot, you might want to get an <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/epaper" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>epaper</span></a> device :) I've done some stuff which people said I would regret. But I found the opposite. One of them is buying an ebook reader device with electronic paper screen. Of course, it's me and I read a lot. If you don't read that much, it might not be worth it. As they aren't exactly cheap devices.</p><p>Also if you want to read comics, you probably want to get a device which supports colors.</p>

Bryan (he/him/his) 🇺🇸 🏳️‍🌈<p>I highly recommend Obtainium. It is a great way of installing and updating applications onto your Android phone. Instead of being a central store, you add the source for each project (from Github, Gitlab, Codeberg, etc) for the applications you use. It is the only "store" I added on my GrapheneOS phone. It allows absolute granular control of what I choose to install from the source; true digital intentional-ism. </p><p>Main: <a href="https://obtainium.imranr.dev/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">obtainium.imranr.dev/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a><br>Source: <a href="https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p>Also, here is a list of "completed applications" make it easier to add them to Obtainium: <a href="https://apps.obtainium.imranr.dev/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">apps.obtainium.imranr.dev/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Obtainium" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Obtainium</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Android" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Android</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/deGoogle" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>deGoogle</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/GrapheneOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GrapheneOS</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/apps" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>apps</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/applications" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>applications</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/github" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>github</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/gitlab" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gitlab</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/codeberg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>codeberg</span></a></p>
