One of my life goals was to photograph aurora borealis from my own backyard, and last year, in October, I finally did it. It's not the greatest photo but I'm still quite happy with it.

One of the brightest and fastest aurora displays I’ve ever seen. The sky lit up over Fairbanks in February 2015 — an intense pink band crawled across the sky, leaving green in its wake. The whole show lasted only a few minutes.
