The amano #shrimp family has grown by three individuals: a lovely chestnut-colored one, a tiny little yellow one and a milky white individual. Now there are a total of 5 - I think I will leave it at that, since the #aquarium isn’t that big.

If I had the time and resources I’d love to see what their F1 progeny would look like. But not in this economy :blobcatfrown:

Day 29 - #disneyboundingdiscord - Makeup Day - Under the Sea. In honor of the 1954 film, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and the various versions of The Nautilus that have been at Disney World, Disneyland Paris & Tokyo Disney Sea. We wore these underwater themed hand me down dresses to match the vibes of the Monterey Bay Aquarium during our recent visit. 🌊🦑⚓️

I am setting up an #aquarium and choosing what life I want in my tank.

It's a really sobering moment to look at #fish at my local aquarium and see that some are #extinct in the wild.

The same goes with the #coral reefs in #Australia

I am considering setting up a separate tank just for coral to preserve a little bit of what is being lost... or perhaps I should say sacrificed.

We're not losing the species, we're killing them.
