Cached US Kindle giveaway: 6 copies of Gideon the Ninth (The Locked Tomb Series Book 1) by Tamsyn Muir. I have this book, and have *started* to read it, but it was too weird for me at the time. I need to try again some time. Everyone I know has said great things about it. Maybe you will too!

Talked @lazesummerstone into listening to Gideon the Ninth (he's never read/heard, I've only read) and what a fantastic narration!

I don't listen to a lot of audiobooks (work requires composing work-words and my idle moments are composing book-words) but this is the best I've ever listened to. Amazing job by Moira Quirk, and getting through the book twice has me reeling as I understand new layers. Love Tamsyn Muir!

Nona the Ninth (2022) by Tamsyn Muir. So far, every entry in the Locked Tomb series came with a complete change in tone, so spending time with dorky easygoing Nona wasn't something I expected. This book doesn't focus on riddles just as much as its predecessors and kinda misses their clever enigmatic vibes, but it finally lets some side characters shine, which is extremely satisfying. Also, Muir's writing is just great.

On payday I finally got the “Black Leopard, Red Wolf” by , but haven't started listening to it, because something called "Gideon the Ninth" by was on sale. No idea what it's about, but the description had me at . Haven't heard that one yet either, because I learned "The Memory Librarian" stories by existed, and I splurged so I could hear more about the . This is a good "problem" to have.
