LOL 🤣 As if… #Tottenham, after losing top scorer and English legend Harry Kane to Bayern Munich a few years back has now lost their captain to LAFC. Team rebuilding has been less than stellar, and the short-sighted chairman, Daniel Levy, is still at the helm. This North London club should have been doing much better, and after spending on an expensive new stadium, need to be spending on top-flight players. No way #Spurs are even in the top four anytime soon imo. #EPL #Football #Futbol #soccer

English Premier League is set to start the 25-26 season in a couple of weeks. Can’t wait. Imma one sport man and the #EPL is my primary sports squeeze, tho I do watch a few other leagues and championship tourneys. After a decade of supporting Tottenham Hotspur, I’ve given up on the team and their management. As an American fan, I am not tied to a specific club or city by brith and tradition (as are many Brit fans). So I’m casting about for a new club to support. Taking a long look at Aston Villa, because I like Birmingham’s history, diversity, and the club is captained by John McGinn, who is the quintessential footballer imo. This season, Liverpool FC are looking to repeat their league championship, and they very well might. Had a great summer transfer window, the Reds. But Arsenal and Chelsea will have something to say about that I’m sure. Chelsea’s Cole Palmer reminds me a lot of a young Harry Kane. Man City will also contend, I’m sure - tho without some familiar faces. #football #Futbol #Soccer #sport

My local (fan owned) team is still trying to raise the money they need to upgrade their facilities. They won their league last year and were promoted so now they need to bring everything up to scratch to compete at this higher level. They have dubbed their campaign «Som La Resistencia» [we are the resistance], highlighting their commitment to neighborhood football against the commercialization (and corruption) of the big game. They have also consistently displayed a commitment to anti-fascist, anti-racist, and feminist values. Someone put up this mural for them too.

Good grief. Tonight's friendly against Aston Villa is NOT being streamed on the #MLS channel on Apple TV.

All the articles said to download FUBO. However, it would've cost me $80 to watch this game there!

I had to look elsewhere to see if I could get a stream of the TV station in St. Louis. I found it, but it was not easy.

It's my fave radio guys, but the audio is utter crap.

I'm just glad to be able to watch the game, honestly!
