With a center of low pressure to the southeast of PA and high pressure building in from Canada, northeast winds will continue to be gusty at times early this morning. Already seeing some clearing working into northern PA where the deepest valleys will likely awaken to some fog. Lows there should drop into the upper 40s, while overcast skies and scattered rain showers will keep temperatures in the mid 60s across southeast PA.</p><p>As high pressure builds today, decreasing cloudiness and plummeting dewpoints will make for a splendid day. Highs in the 70s will be accompanied by refreshingly comfortable air and a northeast breeze. Tonight, valley fog will again be possible in the deepest valleys across northern PA and temperatures will fall into the 40s and 50s.</p>

Showers and storms will <br>be on the decrease this evening, but a flash flood watch and a <br>severe thunderstorm watch remain in effect across portions of <br>southern and eastern Pennsylvania into the evening hours.</p><p>Much cooler weather will prevail for Friday into the weekend,<br>as high pressure from southern Canada builds into the region.</p><p>While there could be a shower across southern Pennsylvania Friday<br>morning, dry weather will prevail from later Friday into at least<br>the later part of next week. After the weekend, temperatures will<br>average close to normal during the day, but cooler than normal at<br>night.</p><p>Lows tonight will range from the 50s across the north, to the 60s<br>across the south. High temperatures on Friday will be in the 70s.<br>Lows Friday night will range from the 40s across the mountains, <br>to the mid 50s across the southeast.
