Mike<p>A bit of a late start for me - but I've been busy adulting.</p><p>The solicitor I need to talk to about our daughter has finally, finally responded (with a half hearted apology). Now all we need to do is pay them and set up the appointment. <br>What other type of shady business requires payment up-front to talk about a job they might or might not be able to do?</p><p>I've got the kitchen floor washed and the cat litter tray clean. The bins are emptied. Several small spiders are now homeless.</p><p>Talking of Kit the new <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/cat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cat</span></a> - she is going out into the garden for brief explorations, but not staying out much.</p><p>We've got a trip out this afternoon - we'll stop off at a new (to us) cafe for a light lunch at Ulverscroft Grange <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Leicestershire" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Leicestershire</span></a> - it has good reveiws from some of my Tai Chi pals. Afterwards - we're talking about changing Sacha's <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/motability" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>motability</span></a> car. We're hopinng to go full <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/EV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EV</span></a> with a <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/FordCapri" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FordCapri</span></a> </p><p>We've got a Tesco delivery due at around 6pm - and..... that's it for <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Today" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Today</span></a>.</p><p>Have a good 'un pals</p>
Mike<p>Cor! What a day.<br>We went for a drive in the Hyundai Ioniq5 this morning.<br>Had a nice lunch in the sun at the cafe next to the Great Central Railway in Quorn<br>Then we went for a drive in the Ford Capri<br>This is for Sacha's next <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Motability" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Motability</span></a> car as she gets <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/PIP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PIP</span></a> (for now!)</p><p>TL:DR - The Ford gets it by a short head.</p><p>There was a bit too much tech on the <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Hyundai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Hyundai</span></a> - made worse by them letting us loose with the version with no mirrors - only cameras. I couldn't focus on the rear view screen with my glasses, and there were odd reflections. The spec' we are interested in doesn't have these, but we'd loose the very nifty parking cameras &amp; the Heads Up Display.<br>The '<a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Ford" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ford</span></a> Capri (badly named - it's really a Mondeo) was much easier to adapt to, but maybe slightly less comfortable. The ride was nicer and maybe quieter but the touch buttons on the centre consol will take some getting used to. Ford is an American company which is a big minus.</p><p>So - it's the <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/FordCapri" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FordCapri</span></a> for us - ordering next month.</p>
