Scarab (Sarah)
I'm surprised I can't find any news coverage of the partial #IRS website outage since this weekend. They had a maintenance banner up this weekend that service was supposed to be restored 11 AM ET Sunday, but the banner was still up around 11 PM last night. They removed the banner today, but it's still impossible to log in as an individual (e.g., to check one's tax records) or as a tax professional (not that I'm a tax pro, but their sign-in link is broken too). I hope the IRS IT staff/contractors are getting the resources they need to fix whatever the problem is. Also, my heart goes out to the team that was told their maintenance window would be 12 AM to 11 AM on a Sunday. #DevOps #HugOps
