I'll be speaking at #CodeBEAM Lite NYC on Nov 15!
The topic will be filling in the functional programming gaps left by the typical data structures & algorithms course. When you only have lists, not arrays, that changes things. *insert immutable data structures joke here*
Early Bird tickets are available until Oct 2

I will be speaking about the #Gleam programming language at #CodeBEAM San Francisco!
Gleam is a language that makes the case for type safety in the #BEAM virtual machine. Give it a try and you will soon discover that the straightforward syntax and great error messages give you the power to start building your domain.
I will be focusing particularly on the Actor model and how #Gleam offers us a way to represent processes and messages within its type system!
This program is aimed at (but not limited to) women, non-binary folks , ethnic minorities and people with disabilities
#CodeBEAM México is happening soon!!! March 4 will be dedicated to our speakers. Seven talks in spanish/english

#CodeBEAM México speakers just got announced!!!

At #CodeBEAM a few weeks ago, two of us USians brought fudge to share (bc it's not really a thing elsewhere), and Francesco brought an Italian treat, and @chouzar brought some Mexican treats, and we talked about how a treat table should be a Code BEAM tradition since people come from all over...
Anyway, if we have any #Elixir or #Erlang people in Buffalo, NY, I just want to say for next time: "sponge candy."
#CodeBEAM México is happening next March! If you have a topic related to #Erlang, #Elixir or any other BEAM related technologies we would love to have you! https://codebeammexico.com/#cft
