I generally feel more comfortable w/ orthodox synagogues than reform ones & the woman who just left demonstrated why.
Orthodox rabbis have told me 'I can't condone that, it's against our law, but you do you and I support your right to do it. You won't be the only one in the congregation.'
Reform folks have asked if I can't just, ya know, not TELL people about being a non-binary queer person in polyamorous relationships?
My experience isn't representative, but, yeah...
