I'm pretty excited about the new #Fallout game. I'm even curious about the idea of it being an online survival game. My main concern is griefers.
A cool person I know made this fun movie-novel mashup generator for a game jam. You should go check it out if you want a bit of amusement: https://muditaheart.itch.io/movie-novels-of-the-future

Pet peeve of the moment:
Password reset forms that don't tell you WHY they're rejecting your new password, despite the fact that it fulfills all of the listed requirements.

That is not perhaps a great revelation, but I've been reading a lot of fluff lately so I've noticed it. :)
Sometimes reading bad literature is much more instructive for my writing than reading good literature. Or at least literature that makes mistakes. Particularly mistakes that I also tend to make.

Talking to some Linden Lab folks has convinced me that Second Life will prove to be the last interesting virtual world built by an American company. The Oasis will not be built in the US, at least not by a company.
The reason is that freedom of speech is completely gone from the US, not just because of government censorship but because of massive levels of prior restraint. This prior restraint comes not just from bad laws by SESTA but from the fact that banks can dump you over complete bullshit
