I'd say it would have been nice if The Verge acknowledged any of the criticisms of Facebook's federating Threads with the broader fediverse, but the last time they did so, they called a movement vocalized by an openly trans woman a "boys only club."

I lost a huge amount of respect for The Verge with that one single comment. It was flagrantly and flippantly transphobic, full stop.
