I remember when I was anorexic and would starve myself until I was back under 100 lbs, I constantly had stress fractures and injuries from running daily. Insomnia and hunger kept me up every night. No doctor noticed an issue. They said I was healthy with a BMI of 15.

I remember when I was orthorexic and never consumed more than 1800kcal a day despite being a competitive collegiate triathlete, and never going above 115 lbs even as I blacked out in the shower.

Now, I follow intuitive eating, rarely weigh myself, and have a pudgy belly for the first time in my life. I hate my new belly. I hate my cellulite on my thighs.

BUT I am stronger than I've ever been. I don't freeze my ass off in the cold. I can ski Colorado black diamond moguls, hike elevations up to 14k, dig 6 3x2ft holes in a day, and my healing rate when I do hurt myself is superb.
