This morning, I discovered that a couple of D&D supplements that I wrote have been posted to the largest repository of pirated RPG PDFs on the internet, and it feels like I've won a major award

@trappleton This reminds me of back in 2013, when I discovered a book I had written half a chapter of had won an ENnie in 2006 and I never knew until then.

@hache Whoa, that's amazing! A fittingly belated congratulations on that 😄

@trappleton Thanks!

Also, grats on getting pirated! It's kinda shitty but also a sign that you've made it?

@hache Yeah, thank you! :) I mean, the wildest part is that the PDFs that were posted are available on the DM's guild as pay-what-you-want, so nothing lost, either!

@trappleton Odd how that feeling goes.. Hate but .. OMG, Wow! I made it.

@trappleton Cory Doctorow said that the worst thing that can happen to an author is not piracy, but obscurity.
