Okay, an actual :
I'm an writer with a few dozen short stories out (most recent one linked below!) & a novella forthcoming. For 6 years, I've run a that's currently on hiatus.

I'm interested in β€”but I usually fail at it because I live in a harsh desert environment, or because my two dig it up. πŸ˜‚

I don't post my every thought on social media, but I do scroll. A lot.

Here's that story, text & audio:

I dislike doing posts, because my identity is at once inscrutably strange and frustratingly typical. I am not defined by my interests so much as by the contradictions between them. I am the shadow that can only be cast in bright sunlight. Those who think they know me know only a distorted reflection of themselves.

Also, I like tea.

@debmerriam I had the same position last year, and can absolutely confirm: the Grist folx are wonderful. I'm excited to dive in again!

I am a story reviewer for Imagine 2200, a & contest seeking stories that show a path to a clean, green, and just future. (Or just show what it's like to live in that future!)

Feel free to message me with any questions!

Huzzah, I have found my way onto wandering.shop! Greetings! If you're getting *another* follow request from me, it's because I didn't know what I was doing when I first signed up, and had to start over from scratch when I migrated instances. πŸ€“
