To clarify: I did take the basic step of searching the one English bit of text on there that wasn't instructions. Found http://maruyamanori.net/ipad/en/detail/pg01/cat02/ which seems to be this exact tea. "Mecha" in general as described on Wikipedia doesn't seem to match this – these have powder in the teabags but the Wiki says mecha is leaf, not powder, so I'm not sure if this would be more comparable to other brands of mecha or if I should look to matcha.

@qwertystop OK, so it's basically a green tea blend called "Mecha" (may-cha, as opposed to Matcha, and definitely not like the robots!). This particular one is advertised as being similar to what's sold in high-end sushi restaurants. Mecha is also known as bud tea because it's made from the leaf buds of the tea plants (thus the "80% sprouts" labeling).

The text on the front of the bag is just things like "luxury matcha tea" / "the taste and aroma of sushi restaurants" / "80% sprout blend tea bags". The back has a little specifications table but the only real thing to note from it is to keep the tea from high temperatures and humidity.

If you can't find any mecha specifically at your usual loose leaf tea places, a sencha blend that mentions buds probably will be close. If you wanted to grab more of the Jugetsudo brand, the site on the bag wasn't loading for me, but they have an english version at jugetsudousa.com
