A hard decision to make just two weeks out from a half marathon, but I think need to just stop #running until my race. Major IT band flare up again on yesterday's long run, and even though I was able to grind out 10.3 miles, it's really not happy. I don't want to risk long term injury, and maybe all these other "fixes" (like the support band etc) though they help are just covering up the fact that I need to rest it. I think that might do me more good than any further training at this point.
The Wandering Shop is a Mastodon instance initially geared for the science fiction and fantasy community but open to anyone. We want our 'local' timeline to have the feel of a coffee shop at a good convention: tables full of friendly conversation on a wide variety of topics.
