Approaching Sunday morning with caution.

There's a fly producing festive chimes by hurling itself against the glass lampshade. Unexpected.

Cobbling together fictional justice system, religious calendar and a few taboos so I can draft a piece for Monday's tutorial. Cats have got bored and left me to it.

Today the cats decided they were prepared to share the same couch cushion - first time since I brought them home from the rescue centre.

Hi, I write fantasy and SF, based in the UK. Right now I'm studying for a Creative Writing MA through Lancaster University's distance learning programme. Two fantasy novels published by Angry Robot books. Here for the water cooler chat, and I'll probably post far too many cat pics.
