One of Jennifer’s works in progress is this 1951 Royal KMG with a 15-inch carriage, bought locally.

The Hermes 3000 is widely considered to be the best portable typewriter ever made. I’m not sure I agree; it can’t quite keep up with my typing speed. This is a 1970 model.

IRON CHEF has always been a deeply silly show, and the new version leans into that hard.

Only he *responds* to Walter, which complicates my cunning plan to call him Derp Gently or something along those lines.

He’s been fostered for the past six months, during which he picked up the name Walter. There’s no way we’re calling this cat Walter, I said, thinking we’d go through the same lengthy process where we’d come up with a name that was based on the cat’s personality ...

So the backstory is that he’s a year-old feral who went through the local TNR (trap, neuter, release) program (his left ear is clipped), only he decided to tame up and be an indoor cat instead, failing the whole release part abjectly.
