I spent needless hours troubleshooting a transient computer issue that turned out to be networking 201 stuff (a restrictive netmask and a firewall not set up for intrasubnet traffic). It's hard to fault the guy who set up the servers wrong because I was supposed to help supervise and guide him. We've learned something important though and we're both going to be able to better handle this stuff in the future. #progress
