Another thing about me: I have much love for bears. My father's nickname for me as a kid was Bear.
My premise for a Yogi Bear reboot: Yogi Is works in food justice, growing food in medians, and living in the city with Cindy Bear (they may or may not be married). They leave Jellystone Park because BooBoo became a venture capitalist and built luxury condos in the park. No one knows what happened to Ranger Smith. There are rumors.
I'm primarily a casual/commuter cyclist but I do like reading about other aspects of bicycling.
Bicycling Magazine published this gem on their website: https://www.bicycling.com/culture/etiquette/this-is-how-to-survive-an-animal-attack-on-your-bike
I've been chased and or nipped by a dog or two in my day while on a bicycle so I actually appreciate these tips. Even the ones about the bears.
November birthday club at the job and we are having crowd-sourced 🍜. #omnomnom
My #wip:
1. As of last night, the beginnings very short story about dragons and bicycles.
2. Two fanfic projects that are for gift exchanges (that are not Yuletide) in December. One is for a private shared universe and the other is for the Leverage Secret Santa Gift Exchange.
I have decided on moar tea. However, I have switched to herbal because I am clearly wired from the tea I drank this morning. #tealife
I can't believe I forgot to mention my one, true abiding love in terms of media: #disastermovies. This is directly related to the fact that I grew up during the Age of Irwin Allen.
#Intro - Hello there! Things I sometimes talk about (by no means the final tally):
#fandom - my interests are small but mighty and are not limited to #sff.
#cooking - I do a lot more of it these days. Also, my wife is a chef.
#romance - reading and writing it. Sometimes bitching about it.
#Octavia - my cat because sometimes she's an asshole and people need to know.
#life - and everything in between.
I've also been a panelist at #WisCon and ran a slash con for a number of years.
